How do I know which dash mat fits my 80 Series?
The 80 Series had a significant dashboard change mid-production. Models built from 1990 to 1994 have the "early" square dash. Models built from 1995 to 1997 have the "late" rounded dash (often called the bubble dash). We stock precision-cut mats for both versions—ensure you select the correct year range to match your vehicle's interior.
Will a dash mat stop my 80 Series dashboard from cracking?
Yes. The original vinyl on 80 Series dashboards is prone to drying out and cracking after decades of UV exposure. A Dash Cover Company mat acts as a heat shield, keeping the surface temperature down and blocking the direct sunlight that causes the vinyl to deteriorate.
