Our seat adapter kit lets you fit Falcon BA–FGX or Commodore VE seats into your 70 Series Land Cruiser, including 75, 76, 78 and 79 models. It will not fit VF seats. If your vehicle is a 73 Series, contact us first, as fitment can vary slightly. Each kit includes precision laser-cut steel plates that line up with existing mounting points for a secure fit.

All seat adapter kits—suitable for use with the 70 Series Land Cruiser (including 75, 76, 78, and 79)—have hardware supplied, including nuts, bolts, and spacers. The installation is fully bolt-in with no drilling, cutting or welding needed. Step-by-step colour instructions are included and the job can be done in about 1 hour using a socket set.

Falcon and Commodore seats were made in Australia for local conditions. They are wider than the factory seats and use thicker foam with a sprung-foam base instead of a steel pan. This design gives better support and helps prevent back pain or stiffness on long drives. Sport seats such as the XR6, XR8, SS, and SV6 have stronger side bolsters that keep you steady and comfortable on rough roads.

Each seat adapter kit includes a pair of adapters that bolt directly to the factory sliding rails so the new seats can be fitted securely. Some 2-seat Troop Carriers, not including 3/4 bench versions, may need 1 hole drilled in the passenger-side rail. Swivel-style bench seat rails are not compatible and will need to be replaced with standard rails.

For 2017 to present 5-star ANCAP single cabs, choose the correct option from the first drop-down menu. These kits meet compliance standards in all Australian states, but final approval must be completed by a certified engineer in your registration state.
