Seat Adapter Kit - Suitable for use with N70 Hilux

This Seat Adapter Kit—suitable for use with the N70 Hilux makes it possible to install seats from BA, BF, or FG Falcon models, including all FPV editions, as well as VE Commodore seats.

Each kit mounts directly on top of the existing Toyota seat rails and introduces new anchor points suited to the replacement seat base. They are designed for use with N70 Hilux vehicles built between 2005 and 2015.

If your Hilux has a front bench on the passenger side, you’ll need sliding rails from a factory bucket seat before installation. For vehicles with seat-mounted airbags, you must confirm the legality of the conversion with a qualified engineer in your area.

Since the Ford seat rails are removed, there are no electrical systems to worry about. Lumbar and recline adjustments operate through manual controls located on the seat’s side.

Because the Hilux rails used in this conversion have a slightly raised profile, the seat position increases by about 15 mm, especially if the factory seat has softened over time. Installation involves drilling a few small rivets but does not require any cutting, welding, or grinding.

These kits have been engineered to comply with regulations across all Australian states. However, final approval must come from a certified engineer where it is being registered. Until that inspection is complete, they are intended for off-road use only. If your Hilux has airbags built into the seats, consult an engineer before proceeding with the swap.

Seats are not part of the sale. Some FPV seats have powered lumbar adjustment, which requires separate wiring to function.
