The Zeroflex Sound Deadener is a high-performance mat with a butyl rubber base designed to absorb vibrations and it has an aluminium top layer for added protection. Each pack of Zeroflex Sound Deadener includes 9 sheets, and each sheet measures 460 x 800 mm and is 2.2 mm thick. The material stays flexible over time, applies easily without heating, and is odour-free, unlike traditional tar-based alternatives.

Zeroflex Sound Deadener sheets install quickly with peel-and-stick backing, resist water and rot, reduce heat transfer, and can easily be cut to size with scissors or a knife.

How Much Sound Deadener You’ll Need

For a single cab 79 Series, thorough soundproofing will require roughly 4.5 m² of Sound Deadener. This will cover your door skins, floor pan, rear wall, and roof, and do so without the dashboard having to be dismantled.

For dual cab 79 Series vehicles, covering the same items will use approximately 6.5 m² of Zeroflex Sound Deadener.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much area does this 9-sheet pack cover? +

This 9-sheet pack is designed to cover a significant portion of your vehicle's interior. It is typically perfect for treating two front doors, a rear tailgate, or a specific floor section, providing excellent vibration damping and road noise reduction for your LandCruiser.

Is ZeroFlex sound deadener difficult to install? +

Not at all! ZeroFlex is designed with a high-tack adhesive backing, making installation simple. Just clean the surface, cut the sheet to size, peel the backing, and press it firmly into place. Using a small roller ensures a smooth application and maximum adhesion to your vehicle's panels.

Will this make my LandCruiser quieter? +

Yes, significantly. By applying ZeroFlex to your metal door skins and floor panels, you transform "tinny" metal into a solid, dampened surface. This reduces resonance, blocks external road noise, and eliminates rattles, creating a much quieter, more premium-feeling cabin environment.

Does this sound deadener improve my speaker performance? +

Absolutely. Applying sound deadener to your door panels turns the door into a more rigid "speaker enclosure." This minimizes panel vibration, allowing your speakers to produce tighter mid-bass and clearer sound with less distortion.

Is ZeroFlex resistant to heat and moisture? +

Yes, it is engineered for the automotive environment. The high-quality butyl rubber compound is designed to withstand extreme temperature fluctuations and is fully moisture-resistant, ensuring it won't peel or degrade inside your doors or cabin over time.
